Use the rack layout

Follow the model’s loading diagram and secure items so they cannot tip into each other. Keep bowls and spoons from nesting tightly. Scrape off large scraps, then follow the manufacturer’s guidance on preparation rather than adding an unnecessary rinsing ritual.

Check the moving parts

Turn the spray arms gently as instructed to confirm that a tall utensil or plate does not block them. Make sure the detergent compartment can open. Place delicate or unsuitable materials elsewhere according to their care labels; not every reusable container is dishwasher safe.

Inspect the result

If one area repeatedly comes out dirty, compare the loading pattern and check the filter according to the manual. Do not simply add more detergent. Water hardness settings, suitable detergent and maintenance all contribute, but change one thing at a time so the result remains understandable.
