Check the throw requirement
Use the exact model’s throw information for the desired image size. Do not assume any projector can make any size image from the same shelf. Include the case depth and cable space when measuring, and check whether the lens position creates an obstruction.
Control the viewing conditions
Test how much light reaches the screen area during your normal viewing time. A suitable screen and manageable room light can matter more than a headline brightness claim. Consider fan sound from the seating position, not just while standing near the display in a shop.
Keep installation reversible at first
Try a safe temporary layout before permanent mounting. Check source connections, sound output and access to controls. Use an appropriate mount and qualified installation where required; never improvise a ceiling support. Avoid looking into the lens and follow the product’s optical-safety instructions.
