Use a case that fits the job
Choose protection that leaves controls, microphones and ventilation areas unobstructed. Check the stand angle on a stable surface. A case that folds attractively in a photograph may still slip when someone taps the screen repeatedly.
Review shared access
Set a suitable screen lock and check what notifications are visible while locked. Use supported account or family controls where needed. Before lending the tablet, consider access to photos, messages and saved purchases instead of looking only at the app you intend to share.
Clean and store deliberately
Follow the maker’s screen and case cleaning guidance. Keep the tablet away from loose grit in a bag and avoid pressure from heavy objects. Charge with compatible equipment and do not leave it under cushions. Back up important content through a method you understand and can recover.
